In-house airport transfers
We now offer our own in-house airport transfers from any of the nearby airports. These are available to any of our clients and are very competitively priced. Rates vary significantly depending on arrival airport and group numbers, so please call or email us for a quote. Our transfer capacity is limited and will get booked-up very quickly, so we strongly recommend booking this along with your holiday.
In-house childcare
For winter 2012-13, we will be offering an in-house childcare service with a fully-registered nanny. This can be booked either fully-privately or, if we have kids staying in more than chalet, it may be possible to group together in one chalet, play-date style. Again, prices depends on the hours and services required and number of children so please call or email us for a quote. See our childcare page for full details.
Snowshoe guiding & avalanche safety training
Stevo and Iona are fully-qualified snowshoe guides (International Mountain Leaders). We can lead all kinds of different snowshoe days out, from a short, fun outing with the kids where we'll look for animal tracks and dig snowholes through to full-day walks to mountain summits. Snowshoeing is a great way to get away from the high-adrenaline atmosphere of the ski pistes for anyone who loves the idea of off-piste skiing or snowboarding but doesn't have the technical level yet. See our mountain guiding page for more information. Stevo can also provide avalanche safety and rescue classes. Avalanche awareness and transceiver rescue skills are vital for anyone who wants to ski or snowboard off-piste. Introductory sessions can take place in the evening, after the lifts close. Ask us for more information.
Ski & snowboard lessons
All group lessons with the ESF can now be booked directly through our site using the form below. For private lessons with the ESF or with one of the independent instructors, please contact us. If you need any help with the booking process, just ask!

Equipment repair & servicing
For all your equipment repair and servicing needs, we recommend local ski-shop ZigZags. They provide an excellent and quick service at a reasonable price. However, if you prefer to service your own gear, or you need something done at the last minute, we have a set of ski/board vices and tuning and waxing tools in a small workshop in the chalet.
Lift passes
If you make a payment to us at least 7 days before you arrive, we'll make sure your lift pass is prepared and waiting for you when you get here to save you having to queue up and waste time on your first day of riding.
Other activities
As well as skiing, Sainte Foy has several other activities on offer. These include :
Walking
The mountain area surrounding Sainte Foy ski station offers some spectacular and very-accessible walking, which is best done on snowshoes in winter, for obvious reasons! The tourist office publishes a map of snowshoe trails. The trail maps are straight forward to follow, with all the trails starting and finishing in the ski station - several of them start a stone's throw from our chalet. However, you can get even more out of a mountain snowshoe walk by going with a snowshow guide. Stevo has recently qualified as an International Mountain Leader, allowing us to provide snowshoe-guiding in-house.
Dog Sledding
Dog Sledding is great fun and really worth a go. You can either choose the highly energetic option of driving the sled yourself or you can just sit on board and cruise through the snowbound forests. One point on this one – it’s vital to book a long way in advance as it is really popular. We’d strongly recommend booking this at the same time you book with us.
Restaurant bookings
We provide meals in the chalet 6 nights a week. On our night off, we will book your choice of local restaurant for your group. See our Resort Page for more information on local restaurants.
Spa and massage
There are a number of spas in the resort, each located within the newer apartment block developments. They can be used by non-residents, but opening times and access to some facilities can be restricted. The spas offer a wide range of massage and other treatments, but these get booked up very quickly, especially during the 1700 - 1900 aprés ski times. Let us know in advance if you want to book a session and we'll make the arrangements for you. Treatment costs start at around 60€. There are also local independent masseuses and physiotherapists with whom we can make arrangements to visit the chalet. This typically costs around 45€ per half hour.
