About Us (meet the whole team)

The White Room. A perfect moment deep in a powder turn where the snow curls over you like a wave and you can see nothing but white.

We're passionate snowboarders and have been for over 10 years. We started mountain-biking shortly after we started snowboarding as a means of getting a summer fix and we've become at least as passionate about bikes as we are about snowboards. We are both qualified bike guides under the SMBLA scheme, as well as International Mountain Leaders.

After graduating in 2001, we did the 9-5 corporate thing for about 6 years, until we decided that there were more fun ways to make a living! We wanted to combine our passions for snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking (and cake-eating) with running our own business. The White Room is the result.

We've now been in Sainte Foy for over 4 years and The White Room has grown and developed in that time from the two of us running things on a shoestring in that first year, through to a team of 6 people for summer 2011. Can't wait to see what happens next!
